Why autistic people get misunderstood

I came across the following two videos that very clearly explain why autistic neurotype people and 'neurotypicals' frequently misunderstand each other. Its feels like perpetually attempting to communicate in a way that feels normal to the individual, and then being misunderstood or rejected over and over again.
Autism is a neurotype, not a 'disorder', and I strongly believe that if the information shared in these videos was universally known, autism would cease to be disabling.
